Christus Victor | Episode 34

Pastors Randy and Andy continue their dialogue on the meaning of the death of Jesus on the cross. One way of understanding what Jesus did on the cross is called "Christus Victor." It has a much longer history in Christian thought than the theory that Christ was our substitute on the cross.

Sacrificial Love | Episode 33

Pastors Randy and Andy discuss what it means that Jesus is a sacrifice for sin. Jesus sacrificed his life for the sake of others. The apostle Paul implores us to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God. Life works better if we love sacrificially in Christ-like ways.
